De rijkdom van Byblos<\/h4>\n

De prachtige topstukken in de expositie komen uit de collecties van verschillende, internationaal gerenommeerde musea. Ze getuigen van de archeologische en culturele rijkdom van Byblos. U ziet gouden wapens, kleurrijke kettingen van edelstenen, een Romeins moza\u00efek en een fraai bronzen beeld van Herakles. Maar ook eenvoudige vishaken, ankers en kleitabletten dragen bij aan het tot nu toe onderbelichte verhaal van de antieke havenstad. Daarin is de hoofdrol niet alleen weggelegd voor koningen en mythologische helden, maar ook voor handelslieden en gelukszoekers die naar Byblos kwamen om er te wonen en te werken.
